Biotite Muscovite Granite Thin Section ideal for educational use. Biotite Muscovite granite is a coarse grained rock and another variation of granite which is felsic in chemistry. This means its main constituent minerals are quartz and feldspar. These samples come from St. Austell in Cornwall, UK. The section is made to 30 microns thickness and the glass is 46 x 27 mm in size with a cover slip. Supplied in a protective card sleeve with a label, ideal for microscopy.
