Specimens of Sulphur, collected from the Ijen Volcano Complex, Banyuwanagi in Java, Indonesia. Sulphur is a well known yellow mineral that is associated with natural hot spring or volcanic activity. It also gives off a very distinct and pungent odour. Sulphur has a range of uses, primarily in industrial chemicals such as fertilisers and pesticides, thanks to its acidic properties. Specimens come loose in a polythene bag with in information label. Pieces are highly variable in size and come in lots of 1kg. We also supply individual specimens of Sulphur in a white card tray.
