Specimens of Sulphur, collected from Ijen Volcano Complex, Banyuwanagi, Java in Indonesia. Sulphur is a well known mineral which is often various shades of yellow in colour, but more known for the pungent odour the it gives off. It forms in areas associated with natural hot spring or volcanic activity and historically was coined ‘brimstone’. Sulphur is mined and used for its acidic properties such as in fertilisers, pesticides and other industrial chemicals. These specimens are available in multiple sizes and come supplied in a white card tray with information label.
