These rutilated quartz tumblestones feature needle-like rutile inclusions, which make them highly sought-after. These inclusions commonly display a golden hue, though they can also take on colours of silver, copper-red, or deep black. They may scatter haphazardly or cluster together, occasionally creating a star-like pattern. The density of these inclusions may range from sparse to dense, potentially rendering the quartz nearly opaque. Within these tumblestones, one can observe thin black and silver streaks with varying orientations, thanks to the near-transparent features of the rock crystals.
