Beautiful specimens of Lapis Lazuli, collected from Afghanistan that have been cut and polished into egg shapes. Lapis Lazuli is a metamorphic rock that consists primarily of the mineral Lazurite which gives it a distinct blue colouration. Specimens are available in four variations, according to their weight. The approximate sizing of the specimens from tip to base is as follows: 200 – 300g: 2 – 3″ 300 – 400g: Approx 3″ 400 – 500g: Approx 3″ 600 – 700g: Approx 4″ Specimens come with a stand and an information label.
