A display specimen of Sulphur, collected from the Ijen Volcano Complex, Banyuwanagi, Java in Indonesia. Sulphur is a well known mineral with a distinctive yellow colouration. but more known for the pungent odour the it gives off. It forms in areas associated with natural hot spring or volcanic activity. This piece measures approximately 13 x 10 x 8cm at its widest and deepest points and weighs around 1700 grams.
