specimens of Fulgurite collected from Algeria. Fulgurite minerals form when lightning strikes sand, penetrating deep underground and fusing quartz crystals or silica. This produces a single piece of fused sand particles that is solid yet hollow. Specimens are approximately 1″ in length and come in a polythene bag with an information label.
