These barcoded ticket books, featuring four tear off segments (quadruple counterfoil), are just one example of the type of customisation options we are able to offer. This type of book was designed at the request of one of our clients who wished to shift their sampling practices to a more digital based system. Durable Books – Made to Last Just like our standard two and three tear off ticket books, every one of these is made from a highly durable synthetic paper, that is not only waterproof, but also highly tear resistant, chemical resistant and even temperature and UV resistant. This ensures that the barcode remains intact and readable throughout the entire length of the project. This is regardless of harsh mine or adverse weather conditions. The paper used in these ticket books is also recyclable. Each book only measures 138 x 56mm, as there is no text inside, apart from the sequential number sequence under each barcode. This allows for more efficient packing, saving on transport costs. Printed in the UK and Used Across the World The barcodes used in these books are type 128a, which is a high-density barcode symbology. Type 128a barcodes can encode uppercase letters, digits and control characters. Every one of our geological sample ticket books undergoes printing and binding in the UK. This enables us to keep in regular contact with the printers, ensuring a quick turnaround and attention to detail. As with the rest of our ticket books, clients are not limited to the design set out in the images. We posses the ability to create ticket books to perfectly meet the requirements of your project.
