Conglomerate (Fossiliferous) – Faringdon
$26.88
$36.02
Specimens of fossiliferous conglomerate, collected from Lower Greensands, Faringdon, Berkshire. The term conglomerate describes a coarse grained, clastic sedimentary rock composed of a substantial proportion of rounded grains. These conglomerate specimens, despite also being from Faringdon, differ from our other clonglomerate (which you can find HERE) due to the prescence of various fossiliferous remains. These different fossil fragments include bryozoa, brachiopods and bivalves. These specimens are Cretaceous in age, available in three sizes, and supplied in a white card tray with information label.
