Glass tiles for determining a minerals place on the Mohs scale, scratched from hardness 6 and up. The tiles measure 50 x 50 x 3 mm and weighs approximately 27 grams. Common minerals which could be used on these tiles include; quartz, pyrite, topaz, vanadinite and peridot. The tile’s edges have been removed so as to make them easier to handle and making them ideal for field use.
