Great serum set, one small issue… I love these serums, especially at the price point, but unfortunately I had a little issue with some of them.I have acne-prone oily/combination skin with minor dryness on the edges of my forehead, but my skin loves serums and moisturizers as long as they aren’t pore-clogging. In the past year my acne has been much better, but I still get several unwanted visitors every now and then.I usually apply my moisturizers serums all over my face and neck including my lids and the skin around my eyes. These serum blends felt so so nice going on and I really enjoyed the textures.However, I noticed that my cheeks and chin started to break out in tiny bumps after using them for a few days, and I didn’t introduce any other new skincare or makeup product at the time.I don’t have sensitive skin in terms of getting reactions/rashes or redness/burning from makeup or skincare, but my acne-prone skin occasionally freaks out when products are too heavy.I’m pretty sure the culprits were the ones with jojoba oil, which I initially thought was the Retinol and the hyaluronic acid from reading the bottles, but on the box ingredients, it says the Retinol and vitamin c have jojoba and not the hyaluronic. Anyway, that’s beside the point.I stopped using them on my cheeks and chin and avoided my t zone, and the breakouts/bumps disappeared.I still really really liked the consistency and feel of these serums though (I actually love the slight stickiness of them because it holds in moisture and also makes a good tacky base for makeup application), and I didn’t want to have to stop using them so I tried another method.For the past few months, I’ve just been using them on my neck, around and under my eyes, and on the ocasional dry areas on the sides of my forehead, and it has been SO great.My neck looks and feels healthy and moisturized, my dry patches disappear, and my eyes feel absolutely amazing.This actually ended up working out well because I had other face serums that I didn’t want to use up on my neck area, but now I have these which are so amazing and have been perfect for making my neck look young again and making my eyes feel nice, soft, smooth, and moisturized.-SUMMARY:-great texture & makes skin feel nice-works wonders on neck and eye areas-if you have acne prone skin, especially cheek and chin areas, you might get a minor breakout if your skin reacts to heavier oils, or even if you have broken out from foundations that have silicone in them (basically if your acne or pores are more prone to clogging with heavier or pore-filling products)- if this sounds like your skin, I’d exercise caution and do some patch tests for a few nights before adding these into your routine.If nothing happens, I’m happy for you and excited for your skin to feel the nourishment of these serums.If you notice small bumps or minor breakouts in the areas you applied it, I’d recommend using them on your neck/collarbone area and on your likes/around your eyes and on any dry areas you may have. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
