The height is measured from the top of the strip to the bottom of the strip. The holes are located .75" down from the top of the strip. How do you cut the strips in the field? You use a utility knife and a straight edge to keep the cut straight. Are the strips ready to hang and already punched? Yes the strips are shipped out and ready to be hung right out of the box.
